Selwine is a Witch.
She herself would say she is a Seer of Today and Tomorrow. Some of her neighbours will tell you in confidence and with fear in their voice that she has the gift of second sight and also can look into your soul.
They are not wrong, Selwine is indeed very good in understanding the mind. And she sometimes can tell the future. Though if she foretells you of bad luck, it might actually be a curse. This curse can also be delivered by her Raven familiar Larjan. He can also lend his senses to Selwine including exceptional sense (sight) and mood sense or as unseen watcher.
I am preparing a batch of variants inspired by your guesses, Selwine is just the first of these, intermixed with my regular NPCs over the next few months.
