A shoutout to a friend of mine who gave me the idea to make a dwarven perfomer/ fire eater. Yes it's not too practical to have the Dwarven-typical beard while ingesting a torch but it can be done and amazes the audience. Not every dwarf is a traditionalist with no use for flamboyance and artistic ability. Jandrim actually grew up in a traveling circus and is quite far from being the archtypical dwarf, though his parents were diamond dwarves, which is a culture of dwarves already more interested in the arts.
He initially started juggling, then juggling with torches, extinguishing torches with his mouth and eventually spitting fire (Spitting Fire is a ranged combat technique, see Aventuria Compendium p.106). Recently he honed his alchemy skills, initially just to make a paste he can rub into his beard to protect it and additives to change the flame colours but he has now mastered not only setting up and using fireworks (via the skill Gaukelei and the special ability pyromancer) but also making fireworks (via the skill alchemy and the trade secret fireworks).
While he could use alchemy also for potions, he has actually not learned those recipes (as trade secret special ability) and the rudimentary lab he has in the traveling circus is geared only for his fascination with fire.
As part of a traveling circus players can encounter him almost anywhere, mainly in and around the Middenrealm. For example they would turn up for the bardfest in Honeyngton.
