Raluf Askirsson used to be a pirate. For a number of years he raided the shores of the Horasians and Al'Alfans until after a rum-filled night in Havena he missed his boat and got stranded. Then he became a bandit in Morenas gang and eventually ended up in the cult, not really knowing what is going on.
More than two metres tall, he is very imposing, though he is actually less of an impressive fighter than he seems. Most times his mere appearance let's opponents avoid combat (Threatening Gestures, Aventuria Compendium p 110), so he seldom needed to fight.
He likes to tell stories and even sing old thorwalian sagas.
