Zalamea is a more seasoned guard than Ingrimo.

While she never made it to captain of the guard, she is respected for her toughness and no nonsense attitude, so she didn’t complain when the training got bloody, even though it was her blood that got spilled and activated the machinations of a mostly forgotten god/idol.
