A noble household also has guards and they are less of a police force and more defenders of the noble family they serve.
Like Ingrimo: he is not a clever detective but a quite effective fighter and if he is reinforcing the city guards, that could be bad news for the less finessed criminals.
He spends considerable time to hone his skills and a couple of weeks ago a training fight with his superior turned bloody, starting the current events.
