NPC Wednesdays #118

Mwasego is an Owangi from the southern continent of Uthuria. Unlike their Utulu brethren the Owangi did not migrate north to the Forrest Isles and the jungles of southern Aventuria thousands of years ago. The Petaya language Mwasego grew up with does indeed sounds still somewhat similar to the Puka-Puka dialect of Mohish that Utulus use. This was how the 12 year old orphan was able to communicate with Adepta Esindora when they first met in the streets of the newly built colonial tradepost Nova Methumisa. Esindora had accompanied the horasian expedition that founded Nova Methumisa and she took Mwasego with her back to Aventuria after she discovered his magical talent. Soon she started to educate him in the ways of magic, but she was too young herself to formally accept a student of her own. She ended up bringing him to the academy in Gerasim, her own Alma Mater where he was trained as a grey mage in the arts of telekinesis.

As it is quite common to Mages to select their own name, he calls himself Esindion, in honour of his first teacher who saved him from a potential life in poverty.

Still he has a desire to find out more about his heritage and perhaps find some relatives. But expeditions to Uthuria don’t ship out so often and he would either need a lot of money to buy a passage or be skilled enough to be hired by an expedition. So he is travelling the south and west coast of Aventuria in hopes of gaining experience and or riches.
