Frenja is a warrior from Prem, very adapted to fight on the high seas against the Hranngar, evil monsters in eternal struggle with Swafnir.
Her mother Torgrid brought rich plunder from the horasian empire in her younger years and had a fine broadsword made for her daughter and a sash embroidered with runes for protection on her daughter’s first pirate trip to the southern seas. [The sash contains a magical rune that acts as additional armour: after each hit roll a D6: on a 1,2 or 3 the runes provide that amount of additional protection value against that attack until it prevented a total of 15 damage points and the magic stops]
