So if Corvina is claiming to be related to Empress Rohaja, she is not wrong, though she is far removed from succession. It was always her destiny to be married for some minor political gains, but she managed to enjoy her freedom for many years. Fascinated by knights and tournaments she fell for a young knight from Weiden, the heir of a very minor noble. Normally this would have been beneath her and the wishes of her family, but at the time no other opportunity came and she was allowed to follow her heart. While she loves her husband, she came to resent Weiden, the borderlands to orcish occupied territory are a far cry from the central province of Garethia, let alone the imperial capital of Gareth. Her political skills, honed in court receptions and aristocratic balls, are wasted when people judge you by how good you can survive deep winter. She can’t wait to get the newest issue of the Aventurian Herald to keep up to date with royal affairs.
