Like Alveron, Amboso learned his skills with two handed swords in the south, specifically in the lands of the Tulamids. Here, power is given to those that grab it and they can give their guards whatever weapons they want to afford. Amboso was a palace guard, wielding an impressive Double-Khunchomer. The mischievous acts of a vezier lost him his job and he turned to the only thing he ever learned: being impressive with a heavy weapon. He soon had to realise, that on a battlefield there are often no peasants that just flee from someone wielding a big sword but other skilled warriors.

After his first battle almost lost him his life, he invested into heavier armour, even if it made him slower. He never learned the finer skillful moves in combat and relies on strength, brute force and intimidation. Now joining Alveron on protection duty, the work feels much like earlier in his life, just with the merchant that currently hired him standing in for the Emir he once guarded. Wielding a mighty two handed sword is going to impress loads of streetrobbers and highwaymen.
